Education is Everybody's Business   Parents, teachers, communities, companies, and governments must work together to ensure that every child learns to read and write. Everyone can make a difference in helping make "Reading for All Children" a reality in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Each contribution makes a difference, no matter how small. Consider supporting CETT to create lasting change for children, their families, and their communities. Your contributions may go to:

  • Train more teachers
  • Provide children with books to read
  • Provide CETT classrooms with learning resources, such as letter blocks, picture puzzles, and letter cards
  • Develop additional supplemental teaching and learning materials

If you'd like to help through in-kind donations of books, learning materials, or other resources, please contact Felipe Millan or call (240) 645-4863.

The private sector's involvement is critical to ensuring that every child learns to read. By contributing their expertise and resources, businesses are bringing a new force to the fight against child illiteracy. Businesses also have a powerful voice in policy dialogues with government, and can take an active role in supporting systemic reforms to improve the quality of education. The private sector will ultimately benefit as a stronger, more competitive workforce is created in Latin America and the Caribbean.

CETT's achievements would not have been possible without the support of the private sector. Companies such as Scholastic, DHL, and Sesame Workshop have partnered with CETT to make sure kids have books to read. Other companies, such as Air Jamaica and ProQuest, have provided valuable in-kind resources. And still others have provided direct cash contributions to help CETT reach more children.
